Instead of "Where's Waldo?" let's play "Where are Sara's keys?"
Alas, this has been a bad couple of days for room 256. My roommate had her purse stolen at the mall on Saturday (long story made short - she got it back with her cell phone and cash stolen.) And today I lost my ID with my driver's license, debit card, etc. and my keys. Argh. I know I had them in the library, so either I lost them there or between the nursing building. However, my search thus far has proven to be in vain. The library front desk, my classroom, the grass, security, my dorm's front desk, my pockets, my book bag... nadda. nothing. I really hope that someone is enroute to security to drop them off or is going to email me that they have them. This all wouldn't be soo bad if I could at least get up into my room without having to wait for somebody to let me into the stairwell (or out of the stairwell for that matter! It's a strange thing that you can't get out of the building without an ID. I stood at the door for at least 4 minutes and nobody came to swipe me out! The elevator wasn't initially working either so I couldn't use that. Supposedly, when the fire alarm goes off the detex system shuts down, but what happens if the alarms haven't gone off or if the system is broke? Get lucky and have your ID with you, huh?) I suppose I'll have to stop by the security hut and pick up one of those slips that let you eat without your ID b/c my stomach has already started gnawing at itself, and I'll have to stop by IT later b/c I've been due to get a new ID since well... my sophomore year. However, isn't it $15 to get a new ID? Argh. What's a poor college student to do? Anyway, this post has been rather pointless and rambling. Bascially I lost my keys and ID and I'm hungry and I want my stuff back. Tis all. Have a fantastic Monday afternoon! -Sara
