Out like a lamb?

I remember March came in like a lion, but I'm not sure that it went out like a lamb...?? I think April started off nicely, just windy. Is it bad I can't quite recall? Well I figured out that I went to a lot of states just within the last two weeks of March, and none of the states were "vacations" but all a good time anyways. Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Kentucky, Michigan, and Indiana. Not a lot, but still I did it all on my own. I'm proud of my independence :-)

Anyway, I went home on Friday to surprise my dad and brother in the school play. My dad was the drummer and my brother worked the lights. So here are some videos and pictures from that experience. Oh, the play was cute-- "Bells are Ringing." Keep in mind that these videos are just for the sound, not the visual experience. Quality is not that great.

I found this sign amusing, it was backstage ;)

This is pretty cool, my mom and my brother are discussing how "obvious" my mom was about the surprise, yet no one knew...

Then my brother pointed out the balloon on my chair, and I thought it would be a good thing to play with because I love static electricity. SO this is Mickey playing with her balloon friend...

Those movies were made around 1, and my plan was to wake up at 4 and drive to the retreat but my mom did not like that idea... need more than 3 hours of sleep to drive 4 hours. So I left at 8 am instead and ummm kinda got a speeding ticket. My first time being allowed to take a car to college. It was the 31st, but I was going over the limit. I was fine after that, but a few hours later, just as I was getting close to the retreat, it affected me mentally and I ended up missing the retreat. Sorry Sam and everyone else!

Well so now that I have a car just for this week, I decided to visit my Grand Rapids Grandparents. I did this last night and I slept there. I do not regret it one bit. I should have taken more pictures and things on the way, but I didn't. Gotta focus on driving and not speeding.

I'm really proud of this one. I like to make movies while I'm driving of things I find interesting. This time I was driving and I made a movie of the full moon! Isn't there a song called "Bad Moon Rising"? CCR? Well this was not a bad moon, I don't think...
